Summer is my favorite time of the year and so far this year our evenings have been really nice, breezy and even a little cool.  Ok,  maybe not cool but it hasn't been 110 at night….yet.   A few nights ago I was making dinner and our doorbell rang.  It was our neighbor and an old friend of my husband's and his little girl.  After living here for almost 10 years we had run into them at our neighborhood park and L was obsessed with their daughter's scooter.  Well this sweet family brought their small scooter over for L to play with and she could barely make it through dinner because she was so excited.  As soon as we finished she donned her sparkly shoes and her princess helmet.   She decided after she scooted up and down the street to try out her pink tryke too.  I of course grabbed my camera to document.  I love that I was able to capture this summer evening.
