My name is Kyla Mikusek and I believe that finding beauty and art in our everyday is an essential practice. 

Stories have always been how I have learned about the world around me and when I realized that I had the ability to capture a story,  my love for photography deepened. Photography is the perfect medium for me,  it allows me to show the beauty in the ordinary and it always tells a story.  Mille Mots is french for a thousand words, and I believe it to be true, that a picture is often worth a thousand words.
